The drags are Saturday August 18th. Friday night is always wild and They use the Holiday inn as the host hotel. The LaQuinta isn't big enough. Most all of the cars are period correct 40's thru 60's style. I mean it's no Gathering but it's fun.

I will headed to the Lake of the Ozarks that week for a Poker Run.

My friend, George Adams, from St. Louis should be there with at least one of his '64's (probably the white one, since it's the HAMB.). If you see him & his son, Tom. Stop and say hi. They are great folks.

Both very nice cars. Very nice paint on the Maroon one you would never think it run mid 9's.

Jack how long will you be at the lake of the ozarks?

I don't think the Holiday Inn sells out completely but it's huge. The LaQuinta sometimes has a few Hambers at it but not many.

Yea, I thought of that, but I am a passenger on this trip and it's a boat deal. And you know how those boat rides can go.

Haha. Yeah I wouldn't want to interfere with your boat ride. If you change your mind I could give you a boat ride. It'll be in a borrowed canoe and in Shoal Creek but if it makes any difference.

I didn't go out to the track. Allan, Joshua and I went to the swap meet instead. I spent Friday evening at the hotel parking lot though. It's always a blast.
