This is the new FiberGlass Hood. I had to trim the lower front
lip and trim the back center of the hood by the cowl.

This
is the fender before we cut out the headlight & side marker lamp
holes. Also the bolt holes had to be cut out. (If you do this
yourself, Take your time! These fenders cost to much to screw
up.)

Here
the newly painted Fiberglass Fenders & Valance. They are being
re-fitted & matched. Besure to fit all new fiberglass parts before
having them painted.

Here I had to drill holes for the headlight trim, not as hard
as it was trying to get the headlight gear in.

When ordering
your fiberglass parts be sure to order well in advance of when
you need them. I ordered my fiberglass parts from "The
Maverick Connection" Phone#
1-304-372-7825. They did a great job getting the parts to me except
the fenders took about a month longer to get than I thought they
would.
I had all
parts painted before they were attached to the car.
After all
the parts were installed, battery put in trunk, and the
car was put completely back together, the front end sat up about
2 inches higher. As you can see in the next picture, I removed
about three-forths of a ring from the front springs and now the
car sits great and rides well.

This picture shows the 1970 bumper bracket I had to get for bolting
the 1970 fiberglass bumper to. I was able to use the1973 front
valance braces for the 1970 fiberglass valance. In order to bolt
the 70 bumper brackets I prebolted the bumper to the brackets
and clamped the brackets to the frame until I was satisfied that
the bumper was in the right spot, I had to drill new holes for
the bumper brackets. The brackets ended up about 3/8 from the bottom
of the frame rail..
