Here is a video of the old dead farmers 4-door Maverick parked in his back yard. As i post this the farm and the house are being cleared out. I drive by it after work everyday and i see the boys in there with their pickups and trailers.

I wonder what that Maverick has seen through the years?

You should have shot video of the whole place there was a goldmine of parts there.From the pics i seen there was about 8 sets of disc brake assemblys not to mention all the small parts on the early Mustangs.The scrap metal hounds are the ones getting rich on ths deal.

Oh if i had it my way and the time (and a better camera) i would have video taped the whole place from start to finish but all of it is soon to disappear.

Here's a Ford F-100 or F-150 with the tree growing up between the bumper and the body.

Here's the video i took of it, i think you need to buy the tree with the truck, sorta a package deal.

I guess since this is a Maverick Comet board i should post some pictures of the very dead 4-door Maverick that's in the back yard too ( i want to avoid an infraction:p).

Ya know the funny thing (and sad too), when i was walking around there it really is a moment frozen in time. The old farmer was likely most happy walking around that back yard and field just remembering his long life. All that stuff and all those old long ago cars and all the places they brought him too, now just dead cars. I can see why he kept them right where they were. Now this guy is gone and his world is being cleared out as i type this. Kinda sad really.

Hey, if you get a chance tonight, raise a glass of ??? and make a toast to the old dead farmer and his love of old cars and the fact that he could not part with them. :beer:

I bet he liked the Maverick the best.................... yep!!:thumbsup:
