Sorry I haven't replied sooner, alot has been happening to Me lately.
I will be posting a Pic of My Dads ride. He gave it to me just before for he died last week.
I don't want to depress everybody, so I wont bore you guys with the details.

I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to the Maverick, she's got a little cancer, and its going to require some attention before it gets bad.

Oh she's a Four door 6, but I have plans of dropping in a 5L Mustang motor in her from a budies smashed stang. It's not just going to be and easy drop in is it?

I live up here in Ontaxio in the great white north eh!

Sorry to hear about the circumstances of you getting your Maverick. I hope it will give provide some good memories to look back on.

Dropping in a V8 is not really all that difficult, if you plan to use a carb setup. You just need the standard V8 conversion parts - primarily the frame stands for the motor mounts, and the frame crossmember and trans crossmember are good-to-haves but not critical. Retaining the EFI (if it is a later Stang) adds some complexity, but nothing that can't be overcome with patience. We are here to help.

It's pretty strange that you mentioned about inheriting the car because i now have my Dad's 1967 Cougar as he passed away this past Tuesday.Small world.

Ya my dad had alot of plans for his car, He wanted to drop an 8 in it and modify the body lines a little. Some of his Ideas were a little off the wall. at one point he wanted to put beetle-wing doors hinges on all four doors, or Suicide doors on the back ( I'll have to photoshop it up to see what it looks like) hey bet you never seen a Maverick with doors like that on it
